With the arrival of autumn it is time to say goodbye to summer clothes and prepare for the drop in temperature. The perfect time for you to meet Handstitching. A sustainable brand of hand-knitted garments in a small artisan workshop in the cold city of Burgos, famous for its winter. So it is not surprising that their specialty is wool hats and neck warmers.

Barbara, its founder, is Graduate in Art History and Diploma in Restoration of Works of Art Specializing in painting, he practiced his profession for many years with great pleasure and passion but Life takes many turns, and after returning to his hometown, Burgos, and in his efforts to have a quieter life and compatible with my family, decided to seek his professional path by creating the brand in 2011 hand knitting.

The beginning was very casual and fortuitous with a collection of blankets for a charity market, that's how things often are, but All these years have taught me a lot and have pushed me into the adventure that I am today: a brand with strength and its own character in the hand-knitting of sustainable accessories, which is growing..

Hand-stitched was created for people who appreciate handmade items and are looking for quality, sustainable and different knitted accessories that last over time and have a modern design.
They are committed to slow, careful, unique and personalized work, creating handcrafted garments with perfect imperfections that combine design, quality and exclusivity.

In a world full of haste, we want to stop and enjoy the small, the simple and the lovingly made, taking care of each step of the creation process, seeking to ensure the quality of each product so that it is long-lasting and sustainable over time.
Faced with the avalanche of Fast Fashion that overwhelms us and that has become the second most polluting industry on the planet, they are betting on Slow Fashion, a more responsible, conscious and sustainable way of enjoying fashion.

They are passionate about the materials and textile fibres that nature offers us for their great quality and advantages such as breathability, thermal insulation, waterproofing, elasticity or natural feel and longer lasting garments.
Furthermore, natural fibres are a renewable resource whose production is more sustainable (less energy consumption and fewer CO2 emissions) compared to synthetic fibres that are manufactured industrially.

Hats, collars, bags, baby booties... We are convinced that you will fall in love with their designs and the quality of their products. Come and discover them at the autumn edition of #MercadodelEncanto
