In Peruvian Cultures The love, the craft, the preservation and dissemination of culture comes from generations.

Its origins date back to 1950 with grandfather Américo Valdivia, who had a taste for the past and created a small, beautiful museum at home. His son, Álvaro Valdivia, discovered in this modest museum the passion and work that would accompany him throughout his life. At the age of 23, he opened his first antique shop in the Arequipa area, Peru, and began to travel to remote villages in the Peruvian Andes. The third generation, Gonzalo Valdivia, decided to accompany the family business, using new technologies and ideas, organizing vintage fairs of independent Peruvian design and audiovisual recording of the current market.
They have all worked with a common goal that defines the family, the desire to share the art hidden in the exclusive decoration of Peruvian culture.

Their interior design and art direction projects can be found in hotels, companies and houses both nationally and internationally, and during the Markets, we can also take a little piece of Peru home with us.

Peruvian Cultures brings us closer to the textile creations of the indigenous peoples of Peru. Working with artisan communities in the area, the result is a delicate and colorful selection of rugs, cushions 100% handmade with sheep wool - in some cases vicuña or alpaca - Dyes made with herbs that grow at more than 5000 meters above sea level, this makes the experience unique, magical and unrepeatable!

Looking for a cushion that will add colour to your home? We look forward to seeing you at the autumn edition of Market of Enchantment.
