Behind Pepita T There are two sisters from Madrid who are passionate about fashion and art: Elena and Lola Jaramillo.
Art is the main culprit in seeking excellence in every little detail, which is why their collections are inspired by artistic movements that ensure that each garment has a story behind it.
The name of the brand hides Josefa Tudo, Goya's majas, a character who revolutionised Spanish fashion. She left no one indifferent: monarchs, aristocrats, majos and majas... who with their unmistakable rebellious spirit challenged France and Napoleon, who were one and the same.
They design and produce in Spain. They make numbered editions, with a great deal of artisanal work, and framed within the slow fashion movement.
