Hello everyone! In today's post we want to introduce you to another of the characteristics of the Mercado del Encanto (MDE) events. We are a socially responsible POP-OP, and one of the collaborations we carry out in many of our markets is with Aaqua (http://www.aaqua.es/).
Aaqua is an association of volunteers whose main activity is the collection and distribution of food. If you are thinking of collaborating with an organization, this may be a good time to get involved with our friends at aaqua. They collect donations from individuals, companies or institutions, and deliver them to soup kitchens or social centres. The collection data for 2017 is already available on their website. Here is a summary:

At the events of the Mercado del Encanto (MDE) in which they participate, we proceed as follows: we have a collection point for food (non-perishable, you know) which, at the end of the event, volunteers come to pick up.
