La imagen puede contener: plantaHello, friends! On Wednesday, July 4th, we will be launching a new block of exhibitors at Las Noches del Botánico, and we will celebrate it with a great concert by Angus & Julia Stone, I can't wait! I can't wait to hear them, and I can't wait to see the creations they will offer us at the Market, Divine Mahe. Silk artworks. Eva, the creator, uses the ECOPRINT technique to create her pieces. Her inspiration? Well, this is how she explains it:

I discovered the Ecoprint technique and it seemed magical to me that by placing leaves and flowers on a piece of textile they would give me their own shape and pigment, making it possible to create unique pieces.”

It sounds delicious, doesn't it? Ecoprint on natural 100% silk and cotton pieces. It is a specific procedure by which natural leaves and flowers are printed (NOT PAINTED), taking advantage of the pigment and shape that they themselves possess. Once the leaves and flowers have been selected, they are placed on the fabric forming a design according to your creativity and then rolled, tied and steamed. Dyeing with natural dyes not only implies giving added value to your products, but at the same time respect for our environment, since it does not use any chemical product and everything is provided by nature.

Everything is handmade with great care and love, resulting in unique and exclusive pieces, as it is never possible to make two identical pieces. It is an art and a world so simple and complex at the same time, that it allows for infinite possibilities. We can enjoy their creations on silk scarves and handkerchiefs, 100% cotton T-shirts, bags or cushions.
