The Querer Foundation It is a non-profit institution created in 2016 whose resources are entirely dedicated to the founding purposes: Education, research and dissemination and awareness social related to children with special educational needs derived from their neurological diseases and who suffer specifically Language Disorder as a consequence of their illnesses and/or disorders.
The main project of the foundation is Celia and Pepe's School, a school for children with language and neurodevelopmental disorders, which opened its doors in 2018 in Madrid and is currently attended by 35 boys and girls between 4 and 16 years old.
Since the school does not receive public money, it needs to find ways to finance itself. For this reason, it creates new projects that include products that can be sold and compete in the market, complying with exceptional quality standards. One of these products is socks, with the brand "waves socks", designed by the children of the school and manufactured by 100% in Spain!
