Her work: Signature jewelry pieces with modeling clays and metals, to create unique pieces for those who like to stand out from the rest.
She defines herself as a very artistic person and since she was very young she liked to draw and paint. She started making necklaces when she went to live in Colombia where she learned everything about jewelry making. In another of her destinations, Brazil, she began to work with metal and it was there that, thanks to the Internet, she discovered polymer clay, a moldable artistic ceramic.
For five years this material has become his passion and he has dedicated himself fully to making pieces with this fascinating ceramic, introducing some metal pieces of his own design.
This material is very versatile, allowing for an infinite number of combinations of colours, shapes and textures and allowing you to apply your knowledge of painting, jewellery making and goldsmithing.
She loves to experiment and discover new techniques that often produce unique pieces that she considers her works of art. She works with clay by mixing colours, adding paints, using tools to give textures and finishing them in the oven to harden them. The final finish is achieved by sanding and polishing or applying a varnish. It is a very laborious job but one that gives her a lot of satisfaction.
Many of her pieces are mounted on gold-plated brass structures that she makes herself in her workshop and using very different techniques with polymer clay. She does not like to repeat designs and that is why they are unique and original.
Her source of inspiration is nature, architecture, textiles and other cultures, which allows her to have various styles, more organic or more jewelry-like. Monotony does not exist, the infinite number of techniques that can be used means that she never tires of creating different pieces.
