Pine Pick was born from Alberto and Laura's love for trees, plants and flowers. In their creations they try to make simple objects inspired by the beauty of nature itself and its ancestral knowledge, often forgotten or hidden in this time.
Alberto is a watchmaker, Laura studied Fine Arts, and for a few years they continued learning, taking courses and workshops on various artisan techniques such as bookbinding, ceramics or artistic glass, until they met and realized that they liked to think together about all kinds of ideas and make them come true.

At that time, they were simply for themselves or their friends and family, but from there came the first project, Oak Root, which they still keep, and later Pine Pick. Now they continue creating with the same essence as in their beginnings, making objects that they themselves use on a daily basis and in which they reflect their thoughts and ideas, the music or books they like.

They mainly use wood, sometimes in its natural colour, sometimes hand-painted. It is their main material because it provides the texture and warmth that they like to achieve in their objects, but they also use cork, or figures modelled in different materials and even some types of acrylic (methacrylates). In addition, they use fabrics or handmade papers and artificial leather for the bindings.

Starting July 19th Pine Pick will be in Market of Enchantment of Botanical Nights and you can find a bit of everything: lamps and candle holders, notebooks and diaries, pencil cases and pencil cases, pendants and earrings and also a section dedicated to engravings and printed sheets of some of her works, most of them being watercolours, although there are also oils and acrylics.
