Martina's Room is an online art gallery specializing in children's illustrations to decorate your home and children's rooms.
The responsible ones are Nohemí and Martina, that is, NoMa.
Martina brings the ingenuity and Nohemí the design. Children's imagination has no limits and gives rise to the most poetic but also the funniest phrases. Nohemí thought it was a shame to forget those little surprises that Martina gave her and decided to create a dictionary collecting them. But it was too small for so much poetry and she decided that some deserved to be shared. That's how NoMa began and that's how it has grown, also nourished by the stories we read and the imagination of her friends.
On their team are two great illustrators, Susana and Hector. With one goal: to make you dream!
Sorhealthy Rosique Diaz, a San Sebastian native with a degree in Psychology, moved to Madrid, where she held various painting exhibitions through the Network of Young Art of the Community of Madrid. She collaborated in the children's section of the magazine Hacer Familia for more than 16 years, then beginning her career as an illustrator of children's and young adult books for dozens of Spanish and foreign publishers, illustrating all kinds of genres, but always seeking expressiveness, humor, tenderness, and a positive message in the characters and their atmosphere. She has also made incursions into illustration for adult audiences, magazines, packaging, merchandising, etc.
She works with both artisanal techniques (watercolors, acrylics, collage, ink) and digital and mixed techniques, such as digital collage.
Her work has been awarded at the International Latino Book Awards (Best Children's Fiction Picture Book – Spanish, USA 2016) and selected by the Cuatrogatos Foundation and the OEPLI; and has been included in the 8th Ibero-American Ilustra Catalogue (Mexico 2017) and in the international exhibition of illustrators in Sharjah (United Arab Emirates) within the framework of the Children's Reading Festival in 2017 and 2018.
Hector San Andres Jaime, the “Hittouch”
It is not strange to wonder about the origin of this curious artistic pseudonym. Although this seems to be the right place to develop its origin, it will only give you a brief insight. And whoever looks closely at his illustrations will find a certain fixation with the senses, sight, TOUCH...
Hector is the name you can call him to avoid a slip of the tongue. He is from Madrid, has dedicated most of his 26 years of existence to artistic creation and is passionate about his profession.
