Jorge and Verónica, two brothers from Logroño, created the Craftsman Loft, to try to bring their passion for leather work and crafts closer to anyone who is encouraged to try it, and to help those who are already initiated in this world.
It all started by chance. After reusing a piece of leather and making it into a bag for her niece and daughter respectively, they set up a small workshop in the living room of their parents' house.
As self-taught people, they continued working with leather, seeking to improve, research and grow, with great effort and dedication. From then on, everything was geared towards their ultimate project, opening a craft shop and artisan workshop.
In 2017, after several years travelling around Spain from fair to fair, they made the decision to open their own artisan workshop. Since then, after an arduous task of researching how to set up the workshop in their land, they have been working very happily and in the search for constant growth. It is in their workshop where they carry out their own ideas, thus achieving original designs and unique and exclusive models.
They use practically all kinds of techniques from leather (embossing, batik, transfers, laminations and hand-made products made from what they call modern leather). As for materials, they do not rule out anything, but they are especially specialized in bovine and foal leather due to the versatility that it gives them, and they always try to make sure that it is a national product.
In Craftsman LoftThey are specialized in working with different ancestral techniques, such as needle felting and wet felting, and they perform “magic”. With a fleece of wool, a needle and a piece of sponge, they can do anything you can think of.
