Carmen Carrasco Solís is from Madrid, mother of three children and works in a community hospital as a Senior Technician in Clinical and Biomedical Analysis Laboratory.
Carmen is above all an artist. Her passion for art led her to take several courses to learn how to work with resin. And that's where she comes from Carmen's Studio, as she herself explains:
My passion is art and a year ago, with my children older and time for myself, I made several
courses to learn how to work with resin. When I saw the works of art on the internet it seemed to me
very magical. The first thing I did was design my bathrooms and make, in collaboration
with my teacher, the countertops of the sinks, since it was an idea that was in my head.
They turned out beautiful!! You can see it on my Instagram. I also made my bedside tables
room…unique! And I continued making things for friends, family and everyone told me how
how pretty they are.
I continue working in my Hospital, training to be a better professional and doing works
art…which is the best thing in the world. Afterwards, to relax and get in shape, I'm going
to swim. Yesterday I decided to write to you because everyone told me that, surely, if people

Carmen tries to make original things, but obviously also things that people like and can be seen on websites. She basically uses epoxy resin and colour pigments from the brand Colorberry. It is more expensive than others, it comes from Germany, but it is the highest quality she has found on the market so far. The base of the paintings is usually MDF.
