Éclaire, the life project of the Madrid singer Clara Cañas, began in 2010 as a long-term dream after being invited by the Venezuelan star Franco de Vita to perform at the first concert of his tour “Simplemente la verdad” in Tenerife. Since then, Clara (composition, voice and guitars), back in Madrid, has won awards such as 'Noise Off Festival I', 'Coca Cola Concerts' or 'Música en Punto' from ABC Punto Radio, opening and sharing the stage with artists such as Marlango and Rebeca Jiménez among others. She also won several first and second prizes in the German competition “Jugend Musiziert” as part of her facet as a classical guitarist. brings his most powerful acoustic to Siroco, Hard Rock Café, Taboo, Sala But, Moby Dick…
In July 2016, the great moment of expressing the love for good music arrives when entering the Matilda studios in Madrid to record the first electric LP with the entire band, 'Meow'. To do so, Éclaire counts on Vicente Hervás (drums), Javi Rubio (guitars), Rubén García Motos (keyboards, mixing), Sergio Fernández (bass, production), Nacho Anda (percussion) and Rodrigo Díaz “El Niño” (mixing, sound engineer). It also bears the seal of PKO studios, where Caco Refojo is in charge of mastering.
In 2018 after touring with 'Meow' in acoustic and electric and performing at the Concerts of Radio 3, the group led by Clara Cañas is in the middle of recording their second project, 'The year of the cat'. With a much more bluesy, rock, relaxed and American sound, Éclaire promises to be a hot topic in the current music scene.
