Hello, friends! It's Tuesday, and we are practically setting up our Market for this weekend. As you know, April 13, 14 and 15 at the Palacio de Santa Bárbara, in the heart of Madrid. Well, another of our partners is a very special decoration brand. Special, because they design and make their own decorative elements or household items: Sury and Kikon https://www.suryandkikon.com/
They are a couple from Madrid and Olmeda, living in Madrid, who found in interior decoration their bet to merge their passions: household objects, art and painting. Yes, paintings in which a spoon is the protagonist or coat racks with hand-painted cactus motifs. Always using color combinations with solid texture, which make these objects an original and very personal complement for our homes. You may wonder where this idea came from, well, Sury explains it to us:
“I have worked in various jobs throughout my life, but without a doubt the one I was most passionate about was being a house painter. Going with my father to paint houses was a fantastic experience. I really liked painting, but what I really liked was spending so much time with my father. He taught me the trade with great love and dedication. “That’s when I started to see decoration as something magical.”
At the charm market we are convinced that the best ideas are born from love and motivation, that is why we bring you these works of art, to enjoy them with all of you.
