Mar Montenegro designs and creates porcelain jewelry in a traditional, SLOW MADE way, handmade pieces, one by one. They are pieces made with soul, which enchant and empower women.
The designer Mar Montenegro is originally from Cordoba, a city where pottery is a reference. She has always felt that attraction towards ceramics, until a few years ago she took a course and that was where she discovered her passion, porcelain, a noble and beautiful material, delicate and very resistant. She has been making pieces for her acquaintances for several years until in 2019 she decided to take a turn and professionalize what until before had been a hobby, that was when she created the brand that bears her name. Montenegro Sea.
Her workshop is in Madrid, where she lives and where she gives free rein to her creativity through her Jewelry. All the pieces are made of Lotus Porcelain, the highest quality porcelain, with the greatest whiteness. She uses different enameling techniques, and gold luster. The pieces are fired in a special oven reaching 1250º.
His first collection is based on the hexagon. The idea came about because he shares a workshop with a company that restores the classic Jaguar Etype from the 70s and he always had nuts and bolts around it… which are hexagonal in shape, and that’s where HEXAGON COLLECTION was born.
In the Christmas edition of MERCADO DEL ENCANTO you will be able to discover and try on all the pieces in the collection.
