Today we are talking about an exhibitor who brings everything together in her designs, when technique, art and flowers merge to create compositions of great beauty.
Guguiarte “Flowers, Cakes & Arts” It started 3 years ago technically, although Gugui, its creator, has lived in “creative mode” all her life. From her childhood until today, her world has revolved around creativity, crafts, drawing, baking and design.
” Guguiarte was born from the need to express what I feel and what others feel through nature: flowers in all their versions, fresh, preserved and dried, I apply them in all my creations: for event decoration, for acrylic or watercolor paintings, for floral installations, for organic landscape paintings and even for creative pastries, another of my great passions in which I am inspired by nature and my floral creations to make cakes in which I use edible flowers from my flower farm, to give them a natural as well as delicious twist. “
For Guguiarte Nature is very important to them, it is the source of life and inspiration. That is why they work responsibly with the environment. They collect dry branches, natural dried flowers responsibly, doing a favor to the countryside, they recycle the flowers they use in their arrangements and dry them to reuse them.
They try to always use aluminum mesh instead of floral sponges that are polluting, they use recycled materials in the making of the arrangements, as well as second-hand objects that they look for in flea markets.
Their latest project is to make their dream of opening their own flower farm “Flower Farm” come true in 2021 in Madrid, to produce and harvest only what they need, avoid buying excessively outside of Spain and ensure that their product is 100% Spanish.
“Handmade with Love” is Guguiarte’s motto. All the works are handmade, made with their own hands and a lot of love.
