After studying Antiques and Art Expertise at the School of Antique Dealers in Madrid and working in the Communications department of an important Spanish textile company with international projection, she began to shape her project by designing bags to store the pointe shoes and ballet slippers of dancers, using carefully selected fabrics in damask and contrasting cotton fabrics.
She designs on special, high-quality fabrics that are difficult to find in Spain: jacquards from Venice, damasks, fabrics brought from other countries such as France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Jordan, Belgium... In all the countries she visits, she always makes a careful selection of fabrics, from which small collections of clutches and shopping bags emerge.
In Atelier Artisan Handmade believe in artisanal and sustainable production. The designs are created in a small workshop in Madrid, even the smallest details are hand-made by local artisans.
The collections are limited and some of the designs are unique pieces. They value the richness of the colours and the beauty of the fabrics, as well as the careful workmanship.
