This Mexican woman is a fashion designer, lives in Madrid and decided to dedicate herself to Mexican folk art, rescuing and offering us the traditions of her country. In particular, Citla focuses on the most international Mexican holiday: the Day of the Dead, celebrated on November 2, is the day when Mexicans call their deceased loved ones to offer them another evening together.<\/p>\n

And that is what it is, a party where the living meet the dead, offering them an authentic banquet of smells, colors, flavors and music.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This theme is the core of all of Citla's works. Skulls in a wide variety of formats, such as objects, magnets or prints on bags and T-shirts, always painted by her.<\/p>\n
