Silvia Rais<\/a> He is one of those highly creative people who creates authentic works of art manually and using high-quality techniques and materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It all started in Ibiza, back in the 80s when she met a silk painting artist, Valerie Pozzo de Borgo, and was fascinated by the beauty of the dyes.

Silvia Rais<\/a> He uses different painting techniques to create different effects: Gutta, alcohol, salt, thickener and other anti-diffusing products. He currently uses the watercolor technique, a result that he finds spontaneous and vibrant. The dyes are fixed by steam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For painting on linen and cotton, I use other types of dyes that are fixed with heat. The technique is the same: I stretch the fabric on the frame and paint with brushes. The materials used are natural silk 100%, dyes, thickeners and other specific products for silk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
